I'm here to tell you how to attract people your blogs with out paid advertisement.
Tip 1: Get relevant content on the blog:
There's nothing worse than a blog that doesn't have relevant content. Be sure to have something people are looking for. Target your audience to make sure they want to click on it and get value.
Tip 2 Educate an audience:
This doesn't mean find words in the dictionary and post them on a blog. It mean find something that might cause you do slow down or need help and help them! Its as easy as going to forums and listening on the conversation on what is the problem, all you have to do is go and find a solution and help them with their problem. People love tutorials that really help, not just get them into more problems.
Tip 3: Humor your audience:
People tend to think that humor means that you are weak or have nothing good to say, but its quite the opposite. You can create funny blogs that make people laugh while at the same time give people info. This provokes a reactions(a good one) rather than mundane info. Be creative and be yourself is the key. People might think your funny or not, but who cares. Crank out quality content and be yourself. You will get alot of attention when you don't conform.
Tip 4: Rank high on the search engines:
This one is tricky. If you haven't been on the Internet for a long time, or don'tknow anything about Seo, your safe. Don't get bog down from all the crap you hear about seo and optimizing. Sure if you put in certain keywords in your blog it will definitely help, but don't count on it as if it was your last life. Put keywords into your "TITLE"(don't stuff Keywords), also put keywords into your body text right after you title. for example:
"How to catch fish in shallow water" (TITLE)
(Body) Tips on how to catch fish in shallow water.
Then the rest of your story ( yeah I said story) should be about your title.
Tip 5: Forum Marketing:
Go to forums about your topic and add value whenever needed. Don't spam your blog post everywhere and get banned from every blog site there is. Just be yourself and deliver content as much as possible. People love info, so just give it to them and link them back to your blog with more info.
Tip 6: Rss Feeds:
Create a RSS( really simple syndicate) feed. This is kinda technical so I'm going to start from the beginning. Rss feed is a subscription based service sorta like subscribing to a magazine. Lets say you like a blog, you then click the rss link (subscribe to the blog), so that every time you update your blog, they get an email or an update in their favorites bar. This will make you #1 on their list of blogs they read, so you they don't have to go fishing all over the Internet for relevant content. Check this out to learn how to create an rss feed.
Tip 7: Submit to all the social media:
Submit your blog to many different social media site: Face book, twitter, digg, technorati, are just a few site you can submit to. This is a site that can distribute your blog among all the bookmarking site, social media sites and many more. Try it for 1 dollar for 21 days. Traffic geyser is the site. Learn everything you can about this site. It can really help you get your blog out to the masses.
Tip 8: Link to other people's blogs or relevant content:
Link to other peoples blogs or content. If you find good content, share the wealth. Link to their site and maybe they will return the favor. Send them an email and say I'm sending people to your blog, is it OK for you to link back to mines. If not, then don't worry about it. Keep cranking out content of value.
Tip 9: Have fun and don’t stress:
Have fun, Don't get frustrated. Don't worry about SEO and submitting across the masses. Just have fun first, create great content. It will attract.
